Who we are

This site is operated by MFSD Limited, trading as MCR Essentials, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17211717, whose registered office is given here. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

If you request early access, we collect the email address you give us and, if you choose to provide it, your first name. We also record the date and time of your request and a record of the consent you gave, because we are required to be able to demonstrate that consent, and the country your request came from, which our host derives from your connection. That is a country code only — not a town, not an address, and not your IP address, which we do not store. We use it to plan where we will need to ship.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not embed third-party tracking scripts on this site. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

We do keep our own count of visits, as daily totals in our own database, to see how the site and our advertising are working: how many visits each page had and which link brought them — one of our posts, say — how long the page was on screen, how far down it people scrolled, which parts of it they reached and which links they clicked, and whether they reached the signup form and it went through. Each total also notes the country, and whether the visit was on a phone, a computer, or inside the Facebook or Instagram app. When you arrive by a tagged link, such as one of our adverts, the tag is carried on the site's own links, so the next page you open is counted against it too. Nothing is stored on your device for this, and it records no IP address and no identifier, so nothing in it can tell one visitor from another. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, your visit is not counted at all.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details for one purpose: to email you about the release of Batch 001 and, if you stay subscribed, occasional news about MCR Essentials products. Our lawful basis is your consent, given via the checkbox on the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe, or until three years after our last contact with you, whichever comes first. After that we delete them.

Who else sees it

Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, which hosts this site and its database. Our email is delivered by Resend, which processes your address in order to send the confirmation you get when you sign up, and any later message about the release. Both act on our instructions only. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to you or another provider, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us at the address above and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
